I had a similar lab where I could not use summary addresses,
default
commands. The requirement was to advertise my networks to
an
external neighbor, so I used the auto-summary. The result, I
sent
information about my class B network in its entirety to my
external neighbor
not allowing it to appear (in any form) in my routing table.
Since I do not know the scenario requirements I can only
suggest this as a
possible solution.

Wayne

Subject: EIGRP Summarys [7:108737]
Hello,
I'm trying to figure out how to do a summary address for
eigrp without
including it in my own routers routing table.
So I have my R1 router sending a summary out its interfaces
fa0/0 and
s0/0 to two neighbor routers R2 and R3 but I need to keep
this summary
route out of my R1 routing table. Any ideas
Appreciate it.
