Hi,
The BSR multicasts the RPIP info to 224.0.0.13 (All PIM ).
I read that the 224.0.0.x network has a TTL of 1 and so
should never leave
the local subnet.
AutoRP uses the routable 224.0.1.x ip addresses - which
makes sense as the
RP info has to be waterfalled to all m/c routers configured
to use AutoRP.
How are the m/c updates propagated if using BSR?
