Hi you'll need more routers than that in order to have a
complete lab
without renting racks online. You can get a 2524 as a FR
switch, then a
couple of more routers, at least 6 routers and 3 backbone
routers. The FR
switch can serve as one of the backbone routers though.
Depending on which
workbook you use, the hardware you need may differ slightly.
I think the
more popular workbooks are Internetwork Expert and IPExpert
for R&S.
Even though you may have enough routers, you might not be
able to run 12.4
on them depending on what hardware you have. So you may
still need to rent
rack time eventually.
