I had a Ti-programmer LED for years. Finally, it gave up the
ghost. Then I 
had a TI-Programmer LCD. It died and TI exchanged it for a
new one. That's 
still around here somewhere. The battery connections are
crusty and I can't 
always persuade it to power up.
