I recently got a book titled High-Speed Computing Devices
1st ED. 1950. This
is a design survey of how to build an electronic digital
computer and has
schematics of gates, adders and accumulators done in vacuum
tubes. At the
time there were around 10 working computer in the U.S.

I have been adding to my magazine scans. I found a decade
counter circuit
implemented with four 12AU7 tubes (dual triodes) in the
October 1955 Radio &
Television News. (50 year rule.)

It is almost the same circuit Don Lancaster implemented
with RTL ICs in the
February 1968 issue of Popular Electronics.
