PROCOM's Federal Government client is currently looking for
a Senior
Systems Analyst to fulfill a short-term contract opportunity
in Ottawa,
ON. The project involves an internet application that
allows phone
connections in emergency situations.
Primary Role:
The successful candidate will conduct a functional analysis
of the
client's current internet application, and give functional
specs and
accurate recommendations on converting it to a new platform.
The
candidate will be responsible for studying the current
design in
Coldfusion and recommending a change to Oracle or Java.
The candidate must have extensive experience with Coldfusion
and sound
knowledge and experience in Oracle 9i (preferably 10g) and
Java.
Experience with Windows 2003, SQL Server, HTML, and IIS
(Internet
Information Services) is also required. The candidate will
have the
proven ability to work independently and efficiently under
time
constraints, along with excellent verbal and written
communication
skills, and a valid Reliability level security clearance.

Duration: 2-3 weeks
