For those that may be wondering what the problem was, as I
have just
figured it out, was an issue in the CF installer not using
the
correct user to add Startup Items. Eventhough in the
installer it did
ask for my password my personal user account, it was
actually using
the "root" user. The problem with this is, if
you don't have the root
user enabled or no password is set for it, then it will
throw an
error. So all I did was simply set the root password via the
command
"sudo passwd root" and then continued the
install and it worked great!
