Hello Jay,
I change from 5282 64Mhz to a 5282 with 80Mhz. On the
hardware side I use a
8 Mhz crystal (formerly 4 MHz). After that you should
re-program the PLL.
All what depends from the sys-clock, runs faster (Timer,
CAN, SPI and so
on).
Regards Joerg

Betreff: [ColdFire] MCF5213 66Mhz vs 80Mhz
Hello All
I am currently working on a design based on MCF5213CAF66, if
I were to
replace this with the 80Mhz version (MCF5213CAF80 ) which
seems to be pin
compatible, is there any special precaution I need to take
care of? i.e.
interms of crystal stuff or codewise changes?
Thansk for your comments.
Regds
Jay
