MCF5485 flexbus driver

we are using the MCF 5485 flexbus connect a NOR flash (just
like the MOTO 
fire engine MCF 5485 EVB board), Now we want to implment the
function to 
write the flash in the linux (kernel version is 2.6.10),
does I need to 
write a flexbus driver to support this function in the Linux
kernel ? since 
Linux using the MTD to support the flash function, I am
confused wether we 
need a driver to support this one or not , does anybody have
experiience on 
this CPU? give me some suggestion, thank very much!
