If you are using the Linux kernel, and you have it
appropriately
configured for MTD and have the flash mapped, then you
don't need
anything else to write the flash, the kernel should be able
to do it
for you.

What is your particular problem since your description of
your problem
is a bit vague.

thanks for a lot, I just wonder wether we need to write some
driver to
support the flexbus in the Linux (version 2.6.10), because
we using the
flexbus to access the NOR falsh, since our flash address is
0xFF800000 , so
what we need to do is just modified the
/driver/mtd/maps/physmap.c , is that
ok?

Yup.

You could download the Logic LinuxBSP and look at
linux-2.4.26/drivers/mtd/maps/fire-engine.c as a starting
point to
put together your own flash map for MTD.
