I want to use a simple form element to submit info to
Verisgn/Paypal
for online registration.
My interest in using the simple form element (and not simply
placing
a <form> on the page) is that I'll also be making use
of a couple of
datasheet views (one internal, one external).
The simple form allows you to select a page page for the
action. So,
I registered the Verisign/Paypal page as an external page
and
selected it in the page gallery. But, when the page is
built, instead
of action="https://payflowl
ink.paypal.com" I'm getting
action="/subsite/child-subsite/loader.cfm" When I
go back to "fix"
the link, the dialog window is claiming my link is
"/subsite/child-subsite/loader.cfm?url=/commonspot/secu
rity/getfile.cfm&PageID=72828"
What gives? Has anyone been able to post a simple form to a
page
outside of the current CommonSpot site?
If custom code is needed for this, where does it come into
play?
Anyone have any examples? I'd rather not have it too code
heavy
because it'd be good to have our contributors able to create
these
forms and datasheets themselves.
