Was wondering if anyone has had problems with uploading
large files (or files
over 10MB). Commonspot seems to hang whenever we try to
upload any file over
10MB and so as a workaround we have been placing the files
directly onto the
server and into a separate directory and then registering
the files as an
external link. If at all possible, I would like to keep the
files in the
same product area as the files that are actually uploaded
via commonspot and
was wondering if anyone knew if it would cause problems to
manually place
these files into the upload directory (where the actual
uploaded files
reside) and then register the link. Thanks in advance for
any insight that
you can provide.

I believe it's only an issue when you want to access it via
the CS interface (such as through page management) or if you
want to secure it. Otherwise, it shouldn't be a problem.
