Amber,

Be sure you are using the full URL for forms b/c CommonSpot
Security can
think something is wrong with the page.
For example:

The page is REALLY at this address:
http:
//author.ecu.edu/cs-admin/bot/learning.cfm
but you are getting there using:
http://author.
ecu.edu/bot/learning.cfm via a mapping. (no cs-admin
directory)

OHSU had the same issue with 4.6.2. We were able to
"fix" the problem
on a form by form basis by copying the entire form element,
pasting it
back in to the page, then deleting the old one.

We've also had issues with forms disappearing from the
read-only version
of the site, fixed with the same workaround or by restoring
data from
the authoring database. Odd. We were never able identify
the cause.

Hi,

We created a simple form and emailed it to a group of users
to fill out.
Users should not have to log in to fill out the form. No
custom scripts
were used and the form setup was pretty standard. We did
use a custom
layout. Several of our users have been reporting the
following error:

"Commonspot Security Exception" You are no longer
logged in.

We are using CommonSpot v4.6.2.50.

Has anyone else experienced this problem or know what could
be causing
it?

Hello,

On a template, how do you turn-on/unlock/unhide the element

purposes? I have
links on a side navigation that I need to change the link
for and the
element menu icons have been hidden or locked so that I

I suspect that you will find that element is placed on the
page by way
of a
template, and that it is properly locked-down, so that it
can be edited
in
the template, but not on any derived page.

Try going {up | down | through} the template hierarchy, one
step at a
time,
to see where it is first visible. Then go to Edit mode on
that page.

Hello -

Does CommonSpot have the ability to replace a string of text
across a
whole site? We have a name that needs changing throughout
the site, but
I have no way of knowing how many instances there are and
where they all
appear.

Thanks,
