Bob,
There are some significant inconsistencies with IE 7 on
Vista that cause
problems with the authoring interface. It is my
understanding that
Paperthin will address this with a service pack. I would
suggest authoring
in FireFox on Vista for the time being.

Subject: [Commonspot] Vista and Formatted Textbox error?
Greetings,
I thought I remember something about this in past
discussions but I can not
find a way to get to the list archives. The one I can get to
ends back in
2005 so I am probably looking in the wrong place.
The situation one of my authors has is that on her new
notebook running
Vista and IE7 her formatted textboxes only appear as a red x
in the popup
when she goes in to edit the text. I am presuming this is
some sort of
security issue. Any thoughts on where I can find the
solution?
