Good passwords and 'default' accounts

In case anyone is wondering why good passwords are needed
and why 
'default' accounts need good passwords...

I monitor failed logins with a daily report from CGPro.  I
saw something 
unusual yesterday from an IP address in Sweden(probably a
trojaned home 
machine).  In less than 3 minutes they made just over 300
POP3 login 
attempts on the CGPro mail server here, in other words they
managed to 
push about 100 per minute. from one machine and one ip
address.  Just 
think if they were using more...
