vCard, aliases, search

greetings,

is it possible to store one's vCard on the server so that
people could 
retrieve it [something like UserInfo in ICQ and other
IM-protocols do]
is there a way to create an alias by a non-privileged user
or only 
admins could do it?
does XIMSS supports a search for some user in Directory?
using of LDAP 
client code is too expensive for lightweight applications.

p.s. i'll be very appreciated for XIMSS-related info about
these 
questions [possibility, commands, links, etc]
