The profile requires the mapping to DOM 3 events; WICD is
therefore
required to do so. It does it by pointing to the spec that
actually
defines this (rather than *re*defining it). I don't
understand the
objection.

Hmm, this is about section 3.6.12. What I'm saying is that I
don't think  
that section should be normative as support for SVG is
already required  
elsewhere. However, looking at the section again I suppose
it's not such a  
major problem...
