Thanks.

Oh what a jewel it is. Thank you much. I am sure I will use
this
regularly.

I have a folder, small by comparison, that I put in every
unit I either
clean or sell called Protection Lite, that has some of these
tools in
it, and from which I install AVGfree, Adaware,
SpybotS&d, Ccleaner,
StartUpcpl, advanced windows care 2, and Acrobat Reader.
It has about
20 other items that I like to be able to direct my customers
to in case
of a problem, like WinsockXPfix.exe. I would rather have my
customers
be able to keep their units clean themselves once I have
gotten some $$$
from them for a good clean start instead of bringing it back
to me every
month or two for a new problem.

Just some clarification please?

1)Dont the activities of Ccleaner and Advanced WindowsCare
V2 overlap each
other? I am asking because I use AWC 2 but have not used
Ccleaner as yet.
Would you advise that I use both or either one of them?

2)What is StartUpcpl for? Apparently something to do with
the Start up but
how exactly does it help?

Many thanks in advance.

Take care and have a nice weekend.

Warm regards,
Ricky.

Hi Rakesh. You can get Startupcpl at
http://www.mlin.
net/StartupCPL.shtml Makes it easy for the customer to

keep things under control without having to go to msconfig.
I started
putting Advanced Windows CAre 2 in units because it
initially scans your
computer and blocks over 28000 known bad products. Sort of
a compliment
to Spybot S&D immuniziation feature. I ahve never seen
it interfer with
anything else, so I just let it sit there and do its thing.
Between
Advanced Windos Care, Spybot, Adaware, Ccleaner, and AVG
free, I have
never gotting a unit back with a re0infection after cleaning
it.

Thanks a lot for this tip. I have installed the programme
and started
using it.

I think I will start using Ccleaner also after reading so
much about it
recently. I use the other three but Avast! instead of AVG
Free. That
should put me somewhere near par as far as safety is
concerned!

Many thanks again.

Warm regards,
Ricky.
