With the computer connected to the internet and;
At the command prompt or in Win98 the DOS Prompt type ipconfig /all
The ip address will be returned.
If the unit uses a dynamic ip assignment, the information is valid only
until the connected session ends.

Subject: [CHAD] Find IP number ?
I want to connect to my sisters computer in another state,
I need her IP number for her CPU , how do I get that ?
I know they don't know it , that's why I'm trying to
connect to their CPU and help install software ...
I don't even know my IP number, or how to find it ,
I have Win XP , my sister has Win 98 .
I am trying to use ULTRA VNC to try to connect to her
CPU , which I just downloaded , haven't got it all figured out
yet , got it installed and opened the Viewer, the Viewer has
a whole bunch of windows in it , I really just need one ..??
Thanks for all the help
