If things are fairly up-to-date, you should have a hardware monitor
available in the BIOS. When it cuts off again, on the restart, go into
the BIOS and see what the CPU temp is. That will give you an idea if it
is heat related. Also check fan speed. Many motherboards have temp cut
off's as low as 70F, but they can be set higher or turned off altogether.
Also, check the Startup and Recovery setting under the Advanced tab in
My Computer>Properties. Make sure that 'Automatically Restart' is
UNchecked.
Now go into the Event Viewer and look to see what is recorded there at
the time of shutdown or reboot.
