Hello Mike, Murray, Gregory and Ardell,
Thanks for the Restore point advice re: AWC and pointing me
to Regseeker.
There probably is not a single answer to my question below
because I feel
I am over-simplifying matters.
Is there any simple programme (along the lines of AWC or
Regseeker?) meant
for dummies-like-me who stay far away from the Registry
because I am
incapable of understanding technical matters? I mean, I
would not know
what are "things you dont want gone"?! I dont want
anything gone from my
registry! :-(
I have now downloaded Regseeker 1.55 but am not too sure
whether I would
be able to handle/operate it. I could try and learn how to
use it but
since it concerns the Registry, I am scared. One wrong step
and kaboom!
goes the computer and I have to get costly
reinstallation/whatever done.
Many thanks in advance.
Warm regards,
Ricky.
