The stuff may Make the disk raise up in the tray making it unreadable by the
laser,as its now closer to the laser than its supposed to be.,so you MAY
have to clean it off.

If it doesn`t work you prob do have to clean it off.See if you can clean
just the bottom part that actually touches the tray.
