System Not Responding

My friends pc not responding when home page opens. Un able to do a
search or navigate the site. She has "Wimdows XP" and a "wireless
router". Problem started Wednesday. IP told her it was the system. Can
someone Please help? Thank You.

If she can receive emails its not the router.

If not,then unplug router for 2 minutes then plug back in.
