My friend is having a real big problem with her computer for some
reason all the files were screwed up. So I went and put a new copy of
xp on it when it was doing updates service pack 2 was installing and
got interrupted now I can't get it to go back on the internet. I know
I can at least fix it with a new copy of windows but is their an
easier way? When you open network connections it doesn't show any
adapters or connections and when I try to refresh the list is says
network connections needs to be enabled so I did that and still no
luck. Yet it was on the web earlier before this happened. Also the
internet card is installed its accepting the internet connection from
the router but the computer still won't connect its not even showing a
connection. If anyone has any idea easier then reprogramming it
please let me know because I'm going to do this tomorrow night after
work. Thanks Nick

Download service pack 2 on another machine, and make a slipstreamed copy
of XP with SP2 integrated. Then do a clean re-install. You'll still have
70 or so updates to download, but you won't have a 300+ MB service pack
installation to babysit.

have you tried to restart service pack 2. ALso you should have a restore point established before you started sp 2, that you can go back to if you would like to.
