You could have mentioned before that you had downloaded one of these
fancy cursors, that I generally term crapware, a great means of
infecting your computer with spyware and goodness knows what else.

I do not suppose you know where you downloaded it from? Do you know
when you downloaded it? Was your cursor ok before? Similarly was
this before you got infected by your worm?
