Hi Sheila,
If you turn off System Restore it does remove all the Restore Points. It is
not necessary to turn it off and back on unless your computer gets an
infection of some sort. Sometimes System Restore stops working for some
reason (who knows why) then turning it off and back on may start it working
again.

Subject: [CHAD] Turning off System Restore
Hi, Martha,
I was unaware one could turn off SR. What does this do? Does it totally
delete all your old restore points? Is it something one should do now and
then or just in extreme circumstances?
Thanks!
Sheila
