just bought a new scanner Hp g4010 this thing is turning in to a
night mare software crashes half way through the install. I am
running xp64 and scanner is suppose to be 64 bit compatible. Have been
sending for tech tips through Hp tech support. finally got them to
send me another scanner still no go. Still had a copy of xp 32
laying around reinstalled it and installed the hp software this acts
like it wants to work it does find the scanner driver. the bulb will
gyrate then stop.
I had vuescan installed uninstall ed it thought maybe it was
conflicting the hp software its a no go
has anyone else run into this problem?
The reason I relplaced my old scanner was because Hp was not going to
upgrade the software to xp 64
