Hi Gran,
Usually with USB devices, the best approach is to install the drivers and
software before plugging in the device. Only plug in the device after you
have installed the software and have re-booted. To get to a clean starting
point, you should unplug the device and remove the software and drivers
using the add/remove software option under the Control Panel. If you cannot
find an entry there, you will have to remove the device from the Device
Manager. If you need help with this approach, please post back.
Cheers,
Chem

Subject: [CHAD] D-Link Wireless USB Adapter
Hello,
I am having a problem getting a new D-Link DWL-G122
wireless USB Adapter to install.
I followed the instructions, when the computer has
been restarted, it finds new hardware/software I get
the two mixed up.
After the computer has been restarted I am supposed to
get the install wizard screen, but the wizard screen
never appears.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled about 50 times and
I can never get the install wizard screen to appear.
My computer is a Hp dx5150 MT
AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 3800+
997MHz, 960MB of RAM
Can anyone help me?
God bless.
Gran
