Thats what I call ,the internal website.

ya its straneg how some of us know more than the so-called techs at these
places.

And weirder yet that someone frome another opmany knows more than your own
tech does.

I was all set to buy a new modem till I called AT&NOTFREE back.

She could have been giving you the actual numbers for the internet
provider rather than leaving it to the modem to find them itself.
That happened to me - my modem lost its settings and the IP gave me a
static connection. I had to enter their website numbers (?) into my
settings. When I ring support, if I get someone who doesn't seem to
know anything, I ring back to try for someone better LOL.
