How to Restart Java

I have been having problems opening my Yahoo email. Their customr
service people said I might be having a problem with Java.

So in my browser, I went to "Internet Options" and under the "advanced"
selection it shows the following information:

Java (Sun)
Use Java 2 v1.4.2for <applet> (requires restart)

So how do I restart my Java? Thanks.

When you enable the feature you have to close IE and open it up. That is what requires restart means. You can try installing a newer version of java if you wish.
