I too have had the same problem and i think it is showing up in the browsers. I have run a full ad ware scan and norton virus program. My ad ware program show up the most stuff tho. When I quarentine these problem sites my yahoo mail works again. I think yahoo doesnt allow you to check email due to some sort of virus in your computer. Get an ad ware program and check that. Also your internet provider may have a virus scan you can use. I got rid of my firefox browser because it had the most problems and yahoo toolbar collects some trojans. Get rid of thos if you have it.
I hope this helps.

Hi Kristine,
I have not read any earlier posts on this problem, and
perhaps my suggestion has already been made/tried.
Quite simply (and I know this is a desperate and even
a defeatist action) but why not just open another
account with Yahoo. If the problem follows you into
the new account, then it IS definitely a problem
originating at your end.
Cheers,
