Please help me. I am trying to import my folders and messages from my
yahoo mail plus e-mail. When I follow file and import under outlook, it
only gives me the options to import eudora and outlook express files.
Do you have any suggestions? I tried to search the message boards to
find the answer, but couldn't. Thank you so much!

In need of help,

Jerin

Hi Jerin,

The message import function assumes you have all of the messages already on
your computer. There may be a third party program that could do this, but I
don't know of one.

Did you set up the pop for Yahoo Plus in Outlook? It should download all the
messages in the inbox in the Yahoo account. You will need to move all the
messages in folders that you want to download to Outlook back to the inbox.
Once they are downloaded, set up rules in Outlook to move to folders. A bit
of work initially, but after that it's easy.

Hi Jerin,

If you use POP3 Settings it will download the folders into Outlook. But you won't be able to view the downloaded messages online at all.

The link to go to is - http://popfwd.mail.yahoo.com/pf/PopConfig?.intl=au&.addr=&.bm - This website has all the settings you need.

Cheers,

Cohen

To do this, I suggest to access your Yahoo mail from Outlook using
Yahoo IMAP server. Then you can synchronize your outlook with your
Yahoo mail. All your Yahoo folders and messages will be downloaded.
