I work for a Swiss company located outside of Zurich. I live and work in Illinois west of Chicago.
Our shipping people find it easier to ship "stuff" to Switzerland than to Canada, not sure why.
I have relatives also in British Colombia and in Alberta and the mail even takes a while longer that that I send to Europe.
So if I were you and you I would consider the shipping charges and hassles when making you decision on where to buy.
