Hi Michelle, unfortunately I have a good deal of experience in this.
I tried many data recovery progs and the best I found was File Scavenger.
One note though: be aware that when actually recovering the files, you may need to use
different 'disk offsets' to get back different folders/files of data. you will see that it offers
you different offsets at the end of the process. (dont worry, it should be obvious when u
get to it)
For example, 1/2 your files may be recoverable under one offset, and the other half,
another. try the recco'd offset first, then the others.
be sure to check the files have truly been recovered, not just meaningless junk with the
same names.
