I have a computer at work this I cant figure out. It is a gigyte board, but I cant identify the type of bios. It is making a reeally long beep then silence then the same beep. After watching it for a while I noticed that the lights on the front of the tower on not coming on. I can hear the power supply and the CPU fan is turning that is all I can tell. I dont have any mother boards on hand to swap, but that is what my gut tells me.

After looking at the your problem did you disassembled all
the hardware of your computer if you done that try changing the
memory slot or try a memory which is mentioned in the gigabyte

Strikes me that might be a ram problem. Have you checked the Gigabyte
website for assistance? Also have you googled for beep post codes / sounds
and BIOS makers to determine if you can trace it backwards to Gigabyte?
There just aren't that many major BIOS makers. Do a bit of investigating and
you can probably solve this problem.
