Strikes me that might be a ram problem. Have you checked the Gigabyte
website for assistance? Also have you googled for beep post codes / sounds
and BIOS makers to determine if you can trace it backwards to Gigabyte?
There just aren't that many major BIOS makers. Do a bit of investigating and
you can probably solve this problem.

I have a computer at work this I cant figure out. It is a gigyte board,but I
cant identify the type of bios. It is making a reeally long beep then
silence then the same beep. After watching it for a while I noticed that the
lights on the front of the tower on not coming on. I can hear the power
supply and the CPU fan is turning that is all I can tell. I dont have any
mother boards on hand to swap, but that is what my gut tells me.
