What would be the criteria for putting XP on this 98se?
I have enough memory,what else do I need to know about my puter?
I picked up 3 deskpro puters without hard drives and cd-rom drives.One did have a cd-rom.
One did have a hard drive in it with winders NT in it but we couldn`t immediately get into it so my smart-a-s son went on the inet and got a program to break the login ,so it now works on NT!.
NT sucks big time.,so we`ll install XP in them when we get 2 more hard drives.
I did install 98se in the one with the hard drive.Worked good to!.
All have an Intel III processor.
Is that good?
All we had extra was 64 mb memory and the machine did pretty good.
Hard drive was only 6 gigs!.
I imagine it would speed up considerably with more memory?
