SR. SOFTWARE ENGINEER
Searching for a self-motivated and experienced
software engineer to build database-driven information
systems to coordinate and improve the efficiency of
hundreds of engineers. This engineer would be
responsible for the full life cycle of development on
complex database-driven information systems using:
ASP.NET 2.0 (in C#), ASP.NET AJAX, Windows Forms,
Visual Studio Team Suite (including Team Foundation
Server), SQL Server 2005, and multiple other third
party toolsets. Advanced JavaScript, CSS, DHTML, and
XML skills are important. A deep understanding of
object-oriented design and its implementation in the
.NET CLR are required. Distributed application
infrastructure setup and configuration are required
(e.g. Windows Server 2003, IIS, SQL Server, etc.)
Specific experience with new .NET 2.0 and 3.0 features
like Generics, Windows Communication Foundation, and
Windows Workflow Foundation are desirable.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: - Strong communication skills
are critical as the engineer will be required to
gather requirements, communicate alternatives, risks,
and technical design to a geographically distributed
team. - A working knowledge of UML, design patterns,
software architecture, and n-tier design are important
tools that candidates will need for success. -
Candidates should have a MS degree and at least 5
years of experience developing Web and Windows
applications based on the Microsoft platform.
