Position: Sr. Security Analyst
Location: New York, New York, United States
Type: Permanent F/T

Role and Responsibilities:
Our client, a provider of information security software,
appliances and managed services is seeking several
Information Security Analyst for its Security Operations
Center, located in New York City, the Information Security
Analyst will be responsible for research, development, and
analysis of new security capabilities for Company’s
network security products.
Interact with systems engineers, developers, and customers
to analyze and investigate malicious activity occurring at
customer sites.
Determine the behaviors of newly discovered malicious
software detected in the wild.
Suggest and implement product improvements to help detect,
classify, investigate, and mitigate emerging security
threats.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the
security field.
Willingness to hit the ground running in a fast-paced
startup environment with leading/bleeding edge security
technology.
Extensive real-world experience in the areas of source code
auditing, penetration testing, exploit development, network
exploitation, incident response, vulnerability detection and
identification.
Knowledge and experience analyzing malware techniques and
trends.
Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Perl/shell scripting
in both UNIX and Windows.
Knowledge and experience using enterprise network and
security products, including IDS/IPS, firewalls, VPNs,
routers, and/or managed switches.
Excellent communication skills and strong documentation
skills are required. Project management skills are highly
desirable.
Strong troubleshooting and problem resolution skills in a
Unix environment.
Experience providing telephone support to end users of
varied technical skills.
Current security clearance, or ability to attain security
clearance, is a plus.
Education Requirements:
BA or BS in Computer Science or a related field.
