Position:       Security Consultant
Location:       bond, , United Kingdom
Type:           Permanent F/T

Closing Date:   2006-03-30

Prominent Blue Chip organisation with well-established roots
with bases across UK and overseas.

This role lies within an organisation that is at the cutting
edge of technology research and development.  You will work
with a variety of clients across various industry sectors,
and be prepared to travel and work outside normal office
hours as per customer demand.

You will plan and managed the delivery of IT Heath Check
penetration tests across a wide range of projects and be
involved in associated information security work for the
clients.

You must have the ability to work on several concurrent
projects, be open to new ideas and provide tailored
information security solutions to your customers.  You will
be involved in developing the strategy and direction of a
team of talented technical Information Security Consultants,
who specialise in penetration testing.



JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Essential Requirements: - 

·Degree Educated – at least a 2ii or
equivalent
·HMG SC security clearance vetting
·Willing to travel and work outside normal
offices hours as per customer demand
·Been an active CESG IT Health Check (CHECK) Team
Member for at least 12 months

Desirable Requirements: - 

·Experience of manual web application penetration
testing and code reviews
·Oracle, Microsoft, Checkpoint and Cisco
configuration reviews
·Experience of security testing and reviewing
technologies
·Knowledge of programming and scripting language
·High level of understanding of security
governance
