Financial companies serve individual and institutional
customers worldwide and include The Insurance Company of
America, one of the largest life insurance companies in the
United States. These companies offer a variety of products
and services, including life insurance, mutual funds,
annuities, pension and retirement-related services and
administration, asset management, banking and trust
services, real estate brokerage franchises, relocation
services and, through a joint venture, retail securities
brokerage services.
An opportunity is currently available for an audit
professional or person with related systems/business
experience to join the Group Insurance and Retirement Audit
Group. The successful candidate will be offered a
challenging opportunity to learn and develop in a highly
visible, multidimensional position. The individual will work
with information systems professionals along with various
business lines to enhance business systems/business
controls. The team's audit responsibilities include
performing audits of applications and technology supporting
business units with the Group Insurance and Retirement
business segments. In addition, the Team performs
pre-implementation reviews of high-risk systems development
initiatives
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Audit professionals participate in all phases of an audit,
including planning, assessing risk, control analysis and
testing, issue development and reporting and should expect
to engage in extensive dialog with systems/business unit
management in executing their responsibilities
Ideally seeking an individual with 2-4 years of information
systems audit experience
Demonstrated understanding of risk assessment, control
analysis, audit procedures and standards
Well-developed research, analytical and assessment skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to develop and maintain ongoing relationships with
systems/business group partners
Ability to learn quickly and multi-task
Salary: $100,000 ++ Bonus
