Internal Audit Manager
In this highly visible and newly created role the Manager-
Internal Audit will report to the Director- Internal Audit
located in the USA and manage assignments primarily in
Europe and North Africa (Tangier and Cairo), utilizing staff
from consulting firms and internal staff. Will also make
recommendations that add value ensuring maximum payback to
the entity or process under review.
Some specific challenges related to the position:
Assist the Director - Internal Audit in preparing the annual
audit plan for Kohler Europe.
Manage 8-12 individual internal audit assignments per year.
This is likely to involve managing staff from a third party
organization.
Manage 5-10 Staff and/or Senior Auditors on a project by
project basis.
Undertake comprehensive planning and risk assessments
relating to each assignment to ensure that the engagement
identifies potential business risks.
Ensure that detailed audit work is effectively focused on
areas assessed as high risk, thus ensuring maximum payback
from the assignment.
Stay abreast of best practices both internally and
externally and provide conduit for introducing those
practices to the company.
Deliver presentations to Executive Management.
Requirements:
Likely to hold professional certification with five to seven
years post qualification experience.
Comfortable with leading edge risk assessment methodologies.
At least two to five years of direct staff management
experience.
MBA and/or IT and language skills preferred (particularly
French)
Project management experience would be a plus.
Willing to travel up to 40% of the time.
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
