Position: Sales Engineer
Location: San Jose, California, United States
Type: Permanent F/T

Secure Computing is looking for an experienced Channel
Development Director to contribute to the substantial sales
growth of our industry leading e-business security products
through indirect channels. You will be responsible for
managing and expanding Secure's relationships with reseller
channels in North America, including developing sales plans,
strategies and forecasts; directing, coaching, motivating
and providing clear expectations and feedback to a team of
highly motivated, professional Channel Account Managers. You
will also direct the development of the Company's channel
marketing programs and the assessment of the distribution
channels' promotional programs.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Bachelors degree or equivalent relevant experience
10 years experience in software sales through indirect
channels
At least 5 years experience managing a team of channel
managers
Familiarity with reseller recruitment and the reseller
community
Experience planning, developing and implementing programs
for distributors and resellers worldwide
An excellent understanding of Tier 1 and Tier 2 channels
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Accurate forecasting abilities
Willingness to travel
