Position: Application Security Engineer
Location: Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
Type: Permanent F/T

•Working within our Professional Services team you
are a senior software developer with excellent communication
and presentation skills.
•You will work with the operations and professional
services team, our product managers, sales and business
development team to plan, design, project manage, develop
and/or deliver solutions and/or consulting to our
customers.
• Additionally you will be preparing high-level
designs, developing software and providing technical
services to address specific customer requirements.
Delivering of training and technical support during critical
phases of their product development, and resolving customer
problems are also areas you will be involved in.
• You are the primary technical link to our
customers, responsible for providing feedback to help drive
the direction of the company’s products, services
and solution offerings.
• Your custom solutions may also be incorporated
into the company’s product offering.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Good communication in English, both oral and
written (experience delivering/writing presentations,
proposals and training).
• Recent development experience with C, with a
minimum of 5 years programming (C++ and assembly (Intel,
ARM, MIPS, PowerPC) are an asset).
• Application Security knowledge. Experience in at
least one of programming using cryptography (symmetric and
public key), software reverse engineering, software hacking,
tamper resistant software and copy protection.
•Recent experience in one or more of the following
development environments:
- UNIX or Windows hosted development for a RTOS or Embedded
OS (eg. VxWorks, Nucleus, WinCE etc)
- Embedded Linux (on MIPS, ARM or PPC)
- Microsoft Visual Studio 2005+
• A detailed and technical orientation.
• Maturity and experience dictating at least 8
years in the workforce.
• Ability to travel approximately 25 % of the time.
