I don't know exactly where to start, so here goes. I live out in the 

sticks so my internet connection is slow to begin with, but for the 

past couple months it has gotten very slow....there goes another 

snail!!  I was thinking that maybe my IE is running slow for some 

reason so I look at my system information and I start finding many 

duplicated entries for some of the devices. For example, in the 

Hardware section my printer is listed 11 times, and other items are 

listed as many as 9 times. I also noticed that it only shows 53-67% 

system resources free. This seems awfully low. Do all these 

duplications affect my computer's performance and if so, how do I 

eliminate the duplications?
