Thank you for the response....
Access Point is a wireless adapter for the desktop...no bridge. All
wireless setups are 802.11g. However, now that I think about it (I'm
currently not at the setup)I'm not certain whether the Access Point
is "b" or "g". I know the router is a "g" as well as the PC adapter and
the laptop. I'll let you know.
Anyway, the 20ft distance is for the most part over open ground, but
even if it's not - would'nt the access point increase the receptability
of the signal? Guess I'm not certain what/how an access point works.
