Hi guys,
I’ve got a Pc here with tons of missing programs from
his start>All Programs menu? All the programs are still there, Just can’t
find anything to get them all back on the menu properly. All the cleanups or ‘tuners’
I can find talk about removing stuff, not repairing the menu. I217;ve
checked a couple links that mention editing the registry, unfortunately all the
reg entries they speak about are already correct? Tried making a new user, same
deal..
Anyone have any ideas? Would a repair install of XP, or a
reinstall of XPSP2 do the trick?
Thanks,
Bruce

My suggestion would be just copy the shortcut(s) of the
program(s) to
your start menu folder.
C:Documents and SettingsAll UsersStart MenuPrograms
A re-install may, or may not work. <shrug>

Thanks Charles, I've done the copy/paste thingy, That works
but I was hoping
for a more 'real' fix for this. He now has access to all his
stuff thru the
start menu,
Thanks again,
Bruce
