That method does not seem to be used anywhere, not really a
reason not
to fix the bug, but maybe that's why it wasn't really
noticed. Personally
it took me a long time to understand the bug report, which
is a reminder
that well written bug reports tend to get more love

For my own weblog I've fixed that in the hard way, but
giving an option
would be great. It would be nice if that setting was in the
admin
interface / settings somewhere though.
