Hi
I was using Coreblog 0.9a and all the entries and comments suddenly disappeared. I decided to just write off the lost entries and re-install using the upgraded Coreblog 0.9b however using that I can't add any entries or edit the blog settings at all.

Ps re-indexing doesn't have any effect.
Also I get this error when trying to view as anon.
Traceback (innermost last): Module ZPublisher.Publish, line 104, in publish Module ZPublisher.BaseRequest
, line 272, in traverse Module Products.CMFPlone.FactoryTool, line 310, in __before_publishing_traverse__ IndexError: list index out of range

1) Give me more informations, Plone/Zope/Python version and
so on.
2) Did you do recatalog ? Recatalog may help you.
And I think you should know much about Zope/Plone mechanism
to use
Plone.
3) I'd like to repeat the same phrase.
COREBLOG2 IS A OPEN SOURCE PRODUCT. USE IT AT YOUR OWN RISK.
COREBlog2 (and I) don't care about operation metter, such
as backup and
so on.
Thanks in advance .

I do 'know about Plone/Zope' and have been using it for a year.
(Zope 2.8.0-final, python 2.3.5, linux2)
Plone 2.1
I've re-indexed. Is that not the same as re-cataloging? What are the steps for that?

Oh, sorry.
Then why don't you use latest version of Zope ?

Just haven't got round to it yet.
Recataloging CMF Content Types and AT Content Types has no effect. I've uninstalled the old version, deleted all files, reinstalled, recatalogued, re-indexed and still it doesn't work. OI see the titles for the old posts which I don't want any more but they are invisible and I can't add any more entries. Everything is still blank!

According to traceback, it seemed that recataloging was
stoped. I don't
know why.

Do you have backup ? If you do, you can re-try.
I wonder why you don't use latest Zope version :-(.
Thanks in advance.

I'm not bothered now about the old entries. Just want to be able to add a new entry now and start again. It wont let me as everything in the editor interface comes out as blank. Add a new entry simply gives me a blank page as do all the other tabs.

How about make a new Plone instance, or make new Zope
instance ?
AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU TO UPGRADE ZOPE TO LATEST
VERSION.
This will be my last replay(sorry!)
Have fun .

Thanks for the help but this is a site that has been running for a while. Creating a new instance wouldn't help here.
I had a look at the event.log and found these around the time that the entries disappeared.
