forgot to say, btw - i think you should restrict your
testing to 0.3.
the changes between even the tip of the 0.2 branch and the
trunk are
so extensive that many of the things you're testing are
implemented
completely differently in those two places.

i also think that you should be testing against a server for
which you
have access to the logs. it's typically not enough to just
tell me
what you're observing - i also need to see what's in
snarf.log
