Courierauthtest Authentification FAILED

hi,

if i run the courierauthtest on my imap mailserver the i can
see the following:

Trying authdaemon....
Authentification FAILED!

Thats all what i can see. at syslog there is no output.

I have searched for errors at all files at /etc/courier/ and
can none find. 

Where can i set the DEBUG LOGGING or LOGLEVEL?
someone knows a good HOWTO or DOCUMANTATION for Courier-IMAP
with LDAP authentification.

I doubt you see exactly that, since
"authentification" is not a word.
